Reseller

Market and sell OpenText products and solutions

Partners that either sell directly or through a second tier. These partners may bring industry, product, or regional expertise to opportunities, include their own value-add services on top of OpenText products, meet specific customer transactional needs, provide scale, or provide other valuable services when selling to end customers.

Referral

Earn finder’s fees for sourcing net new customer leads*

Register opportunity leads with OpenText. Approved deals may qualify for a five- or 10-percent finder’s fee if conditions are met.

*Applies to License, Subscription and Professional Services deals.

Service Providers

Manage and maintain systems and solutions

Offer value-added services where they may provide managed/hosting services to customers with primary focus on either IT services or Cybersecurity, including RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) services.

Technology

Complement the value of OpenText product offerings

Partners who either build connectors from their own IP to OpenText products, build add-ons/modules that augment OpenText products and are sold by OpenText, or embed OpenText products to their own IP that they sell/distribute directly to customers.

Solution Extension

Expand the reach of OpenText product offerings

Partners create complementary technologies that extend the capabilities of OpenText products. The combined solutions are resold through OpenText to meet even the most demanding customer needs. Most Solution Extension Partners begin their journey with OpenText through membership in the Technology Program.

System Integrators

Implement and integrate OpenText solutions

Open to select regional system integrators and consulting firms that wish to implement OpenText solutions, this program requires members to be certified for the OpenText products they specialize in to maintain status within the program. The Platinum Tier is reserved for Global System Integrators and is by invitation and approval only.

Drive value and expand reach with flexible OpenText Partner Program levels designed to align with organizations’ business models, visions, and strategic objectives.

Platinum Partners leverage their technology leadership, strong sales and marketing teams, and go-to-market presence to make significant commitments and investments in customer satisfaction, competency certifications, and revenue growth. Platinum Partners collaborate with all operational groups within OpenText to develop, sell, and service solutions based on the OpenText family of products, while receiving dedicated account management. For some partner programs Platinum level partnership is offered by invitation only.

Partners who sell or co-sell a broad range of OpenText products, or that have a dedicated OpenText practice that directly influences large customer projects while demonstrating a high degree of expertise for all their contracted OpenText products. Gold-level participation offers enhanced support from OpenText in return for strong collaboration and commitment to working together to deliver customer success.

Committed to OpenText products and invested in sales training and technical certifications, Silver Partners focus on a limited scope of OpenText products, have a focused and certified resource pool on OpenText solutions, and demonstrate an elevated degree of expertise for all their contracted OpenText products. Silver Partners receive access to OpenText tools and resources to support their success as a member of the OpenText Global Partner Program.

Ideal for partners just starting out with OpenText, have a limited product focus, engage on an infrequent basis, or may be a trusted advisor for customers and influence adoption of OpenText solutions. Bronze Partners demonstrate necessary expertise in their contracted OpenText Product focus.
