LAVA Systems Inc. Announces Three New Resellers

Galahad, Fleximation, and Tri-Sys Join LAVA's Business Partner Program

Toronto, ON – 1996-11-25 – LAVA Systems Inc. (TSE: LVA), a developer and marketer of award-winning document management products, today announced the signing of three new Canadian members to their Business Partner Program.

Galahad Information Systems Inc., Fleximation Systems Inc., and Tri-Sys Business Solutions Inc. will offer LAVA's integrated document management, imaging and workflow software solution to their customers in sectors including manufacturing, financial services and distribution, among others. By participating in the Business Partner Program, they will gain hands-on experience with LAVA Mentor, LAVA's proven implementation methodology, ensuring the rapid and successful implementation of LAVA products. As an added advantage, LAVA's ability to integrate with legacy applications will allow resellers to leverage their existing customer base by offering a document management system that complements the back-office solutions resellers may have already implemented.

Announced in July, LAVA Systems Inc.'s Business Partner Program is one of the most innovative of its kind, offering prospective resellers four levels of participation ranging from generating initial sales referrals for LAVA Systems Inc. to complete responsibility for product sales and services, including demonstrations, installations, support and optional licensee training. Partners can also receive a scaled discount on LAVA software based on their participation level, and gain access to co-op funds for marketing and promotional use.

The three new members will join other LAVA Systems Inc. Canadian Business Partners such as Toronto's Datacom Imaging Systems Inc., which joined the program at its inception earlier this year.
