Michelle Berry
Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer
Michelle Berry joined OpenText in November 2025 as Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. As CHRO, Michelle oversees all HR related strategy and delivery including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Workforce planning and organizational effectiveness, Employee Relations and Total Rewards.
Michelle brings over 20 years of international HR leadership experience in the technology sector, including more than a decade here at OpenText until 2022, where, among other roles, she served as Vice President of HR, leading and shaping the HR Business Partner organization and overseeing workforce planning, M&A integration, employee relations and strategic HR delivery.
Prior to re-joining OpenText, Michelle spent 3 years at Autodesk, where she was focused on HR transformation and optimization, including building and leading an internal manager consulting practice to scale HR advisory support. Michelle has also held roles at Mastech Canada (now igate), BCE Emergis (now Telus) and Secured Services Inc.
Michelle is known for her calm and pragmatic leadership approach and her passion for cultivating high-performance cultures that prioritize inclusivity and a sense of community. She is excited to return to her roots at OpenText, an organization close to her heart, and contribute to shaping its future success.
