Michelle Kelly is Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications at OpenText. She leads the company's global narrative across clients, partners, colleagues and investors, translating strategy into stories that build reputation, trust and business momentum.
A strategic communications leader with two decades of experience in technology, Michelle advises senior leaders on corporate reputation, executive positioning and issues management. She builds thought leadership and colleague engagement programs that strengthen high performing teams and cultures. She has led internal and external communications through large-scale transformation, aligning organizations, mobilizing stakeholders and turning strategy into action.
Michelle joined OpenText in 2024 as Vice President, Digital Strategy and Global Business Operations. Before OpenText, she spent 12 years at Rogers Communications as a senior leader on the communications team, advising executives across technology, networks, cybersecurity, consumer, enterprise, operations and media. She was a key member of the team that led communications for the Rogers and Shaw merger, the largest transaction in Canadian telecommunications history. As Chief of Staff to the Chief Information and Technology Officer, she counseled on corporate affairs, capital planning, investor relations, organizational strategy and board communications.
Michelle began her career at High Road / Fleishman-Hillard, leading major technology and financial services accounts for clients including Microsoft, American Express and AT&T. She is a graduate of Dalhousie University and completed postgraduate studies in public relations at Humber College.
