Course Description

This course is intended for CX-E Administrators and Partner technicians that wish to learn about the changes with CX-E 22.4. Those that are certified at the AVST Advanced Technician or XM Certified professional level can use this course as a primer to upgrade their certifications. The course starts with a review of the certification programs for CX-E Voice, followed by a review of the new features in CX-E 22.4. Included in this module is video demonstration of the new features. Included is how to upgrade, migrate, and install CX-E 22.4

On completion of this course, participants should be able to:

• Understand the new certification requirements
• Describe the new features available in CX-E 22.4
• Be able to implement and use the new web administration tool.
• Be able to assess a CX-E system for upgrade
• Upgrade a CX-E system to version 22.4
• Upgrade a CX-E system to 22.4 while migrating to a new platform.
• Prepare a platform for a new CX-E 22.4 Installation
• Install the Speech Recognition (ASR) software
• Install CX-E and perform an initial configuration
• Install the new web administration utility and then use it to manage subscribers and distribution lists.

Prerequisites

• 3-5501 – CX-E Business Administration or past Administrator training
• Previous CX-E certification
