5-0157 - OpenText™ Content Management Developer Certification Exam

This exam validates your proficiency in building solutions for OpenText Content Management, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of its database and development capabilities through the OpenText Content Management SDK. It verifies that you are able to navigate the database tables that compose OpenText Content Management and build meaningful queries to gather information from specific tables. It also verifies that you are able to compose detailed LiveReports using SQL queries that include charts, sub reports, templates, and programmatic parameters.

Furthermore, the exam confirms that you are able to assemble projects and build modules with custom content. It verifies that you are able to write custom modules, OSpaces, and packages using OScript, test them with the OUnit framework, and deploy them through the OpenText Content Management Administration Console. It verifies that you are able to add request handlers, nodes, web nodes, CSNodes, and extensions to support new, customized endpoints for both the REST API and Content Web Services. It also confirms that you are able to write and retrieve custom data from the database through your solutions and present this data in custom-built user interfaces, including those written in Weblingo.

This certification exam is designed to verify your competence in the essential tasks of module customization in OpenText Content Management, including database queries, LiveReports, proficiency in OScript (including OUnit), familiarity with the supporting frameworks (such as Weblingo, the REST API, Service Data Objects, and Content Web Services), as well as formatting, building, debugging, and profiling solutions. Successful candidates demonstrate strong capability in developing solutions for OpenText Content Management.
