Summary

Learn to use and administer OpenText Vendor Invoice Management for SAP Solutions to streamline, configure, and optimize your organization’s invoice processing.

Overview

This course introduces you to the Baseline configuration for OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) for SAP Solutions. You will learn to apply the solution to manage a range of invoice-processing scenarios using VIM.

You will use VIM Workplace, VIM Analytics, VIM Dashboards, and Fiori apps during hands-on exercises. You will process inbound invoices (both PO and non-PO), approve invoices, manage invoice exceptions, and perform invoice monitoring and reporting.

Then acting as an administrator, you will learn how to customize Baseline to meet your organization’s unique needs.

You will use the SAP IMG, the VIM Invoice IMG, and the VIM Foundation IMG to affect how invoices are processed. You will also learn about the various reports, jobs, and monitoring that are required to support your VIM Invoice Solution.

Upon completion of this course, you should have the confidence to use, implement, and support Vendor Invoice Management for SAP Solutions effectively for invoice automation.

Prerequisites

Basic understanding of SAP Accounts Payable processing. Familiarity with SAP Basis, SAP IMG, or ABAP is helpful.
