Digital badges: A powerful way to showcase your skills

Digital badges are widely used in the technology industry as a verifiable, visual indicator of people’s knowledge, skills and competencies. They provide an easy and powerful way for people to promote their accomplishments through online and social sites and for others to verify their authenticity. Increasingly, employers are looking for proof of qualifications when hiring and promoting.

OpenText awards digital badges for certification achievements and completion of instructor-led training courses. Currently course completion badges are not issued for self-paced training.

How to obtain your digital badge and certificate

OpenText issues digital badges via the Credly platform. We require permission to share your badge related information, including email address, with Credly. If you do not provide permission to share your information, your digital badge will not be issued.

To give us permission, click “Register" at the top left-hand side of this page. When you fill in the registration form, be sure to: 1) register with the User ID equal to the email address you used to register for your OpenText training, 2) opt-in for badging in the Digital Badge Enrollment section of the registration form.

Please note: If you’ve completed instructor-led courses or certifications through the OpenText Learning Platform, you need to opt in to digital badging under the "My Profile" section of the OpenText Learning Platform.
