Course Description


Overview

This course provides you with the knowledge necessary to manage your organization's information in OpenText™ Core Content Management. This course is designed for end users and is also recommended for administrators to learn the fundamental OpenText™ Core Content Management concepts.

You will learn about the features on the OpenText™ Core Content Management home page, and how to create and manage items in the system. This includes how to add content, versioning when editing documents, records management features to apply policies and holds to items, and accessing action menus for further functionality. You will also see how to share your documents with internal or external users.

Additionally, workspaces will be presented to help you collaborate with team members, including how to add members or a related workspace. OpenText’s AI assistant, OpenText™ Content Aviator, will be presented for asking natural language questions or getting a summary of your workspace.

You will gain an understanding of workflows in OpenText™ Core Content Management, specifically file and manual event workflow templates, and the actions you can associate with each workflow.

Finally, you will learn about OpenText™ Core Drive and how to synchronize content between your desktop and OpenText™ Core Content Management for working offline.

By the end of this course, you will be managing your information using the various features of OpenText™ Core Content Management.
