Course Description
Summary
As more organizations adopt OpenText™ Content Management in the cloud, the role of a business administrator becomes increasingly important. System administrators still perform installation and backend configuration, but many administrative tasks are under the purview of business administrators who can access a subset of the administrative pages and functions available to system administrators. This course covers the tasks that business administrators are often asked to perform.
Overview
The first part of this course covers system-centric tasks. You will learn how to support system administrators by configuring feature settings and system messages. This is followed by an introduction to system monitoring. You will also learn how to use the Transport feature to transfer business scenarios between multiple OpenText Content Management systems.
The remaining part of the course covers how you can customize the user experience. Business administrators can configure settings for user and group information, delegates, facets and columns, search filters, perspectives, reminders, and notifications.
This course concludes with an introduction to records management, physical objects, and security clearances. These are covered in the Analyst learning path which learners may pursue after Business Administrator certification.
