Course Description


In this course participants will learn how to optimize customer engagement through the design and delivery of ultra-personalized, consistent and compliant communications. For this purpose, participants will be presented with an encompassing view of the process to design, develop, deploy and execute Communications Server projects to deliver highly personalized customer communications for various formats and distribution channels.

The course also covers how to manage large and complex OpenText Communications focused on Document Automation.

  • Use Describer to create Metadata Models
  • Use Review and Retouch to manage Ad Hoc correspondence to compose individualized documents
  • Create Interactive forms
  • Use Describer to create Metadata Models
  • Add metadata to the documents
  • Store documents in the Document Broker repository
  • Build PPQ queries against the Document Broker
  • Manually release documents from the Post-processor repository
  • Automatically release documents from the Post-processor repository, using queries
  • Create and apply sheet layouts

  • Apply Sorting

Prerequisites


  • Familiarity with Windows-based tools. Programming skills are not required but considered an advantage when using Communications Server scripting
