Course Description


Summary

This course provides you with the knowledge necessary to develop document processing profiles in OpenText Core Capture Designer. This course is the beginning step to OpenText Core Capture Developer certification.

Overview

In this course, students will learn the power and intricacies of OpenText Core Capture Designer. Labs are presented requiring students to analyze unique process specifications, as they would encounter in a production environment, and create production quality processes.

  • Configuration and execution of the most common capture profile features, including:
    • Scanner and input settings
    • Image processing
    • OCR
    • Information extraction
    • Import and export
  • Learn about the process design workflow, from capture profile design to configuration and deployment

On completion of this course, participants should be able to:
  • Describe the process development lifecycle
  • Use OpenText Core Capture Designer configuration tools
  • Design processes for different production-like requirements
  • Using given business requirements, create capture processes using OpenText Core Capture Designer

Prerequisites


  • 3-8210 - OpenText™ Core Capture Business Administration
  • Familiarity with Windows, a Web browser, and a basic understanding of document capture.
