Overview
This course is designed to help students become knowledgeable with the latest version of OpenText NetIQ Identity Manager as well as to bring preexisting customers and systems integrators up to date with the new features and functionality. Beginning with the process of installation and configuration of the 25.4 version. The content is streamlined while introducing some of the newest features, such as the Identity Console as well as the Validator tool.

- Launch and create a test suite with Validator
Course Objectives
On completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Introduce the available solutions within the OpenText identity and access management product suite.
- Describe the basics of LDAP and eDirectory.
- Describe the various Identity Manager components and basic theory of operations.
- Import the data, execute the analysis, and write metrics and cleaning scripts.
- Describe and launch the Identity Console.
- Explain the package management and import a project.
- Import a driver and packages into the Designer.
- Describe the policies, filters, and mappings.
- Configuring MYSQL Driver to connect to Orange HR system.
- Install the Active Directory Driver and work with password synchronization.
- Describe and implement the Password Synchronization.
- Describe the purpose of the Validator tool.
- Launch and create a test suite with Validator.

Prerequisites
To be successful in this course, you should have the following prerequisites or knowledge:
- Network communication
- Understanding of directory services, including LDAP
