We are very pleased with how effortless it has been to deploy the EES project for the DOI. It is a true testament to the strong and valuable partnership we have with OpenText. This project serves as a successful model for other government agencies looking to move their critical business information to the cloud.
Our users have been very positive towards the new OpenText Cordys solution. They appreciate the logical flow and the automation of mundane process steps, and that their way of working is much better supported and the freedom they have to apply their expertise and judgment.

We streamlined the whole complaint review process. For example, the validation phase; where it used to take us two hours to get a case closed, now we can do it in about fifteen minutes because of the way we built the process. Staff can go in and simply click a couple of buttons and it creates a letter and saves it in the case folder. All we have to do is print it off, sign it, and mail it.
We've automated what used to be a manual process to something that is now completely automated. It gives us visibility to every piece of work in the library, every document that's created. It also provides us with metrics, so managers now have insight and can track where everything is. They can easily see bottlenecks and can easily adjust them.
Besides lower costs for archive maintenance, there are much greater process efficiencies concerning the land and commercial registers. Now that the documents can be viewed anywhere, administration costs are reduced and Austria as a business location is strengthened as a whole.
