This course provides a detailed look at administrative operations of the Documentum Server platform. Students will be introduced to Documentum Server installation, upgrade, and configuration information. Also included is information that students would need for performing daily administrative operations, such as jobs and methods, as well as users and groups.

  • Configure a repository to use login tickets and application access tokens

  • Install, configure, and use Data Visualization Reports
  • Install and use index server and an index agent • Perform troubleshooting
  • Create and use resource agents
  • Create, search, verify, sign, and purge audit trail records
  • Configure and use the Java Method Server and the dmbasic Method Server
  • Create a repository federation
  • Perform object replication
  • Set up a job sequence
  • Use MACL (Mandatory Access Control List) features
  • Perform dump and load
  • Install and use ACS (Accelerated Content Services), BOCS (Branch Office Caching Services), and DMS (Documentum Messaging Services) servers
  • Configure a JMS (Java Method Server) instance for HA (High Availability)
