Catalogue Extended Attributes
OpenText™ Active Catalogue Program
About the Program
Several retailers (Dillard’s, Macy’s, Belk, etc.) have adopted the GS1 Guideline for extended attributes and images. This data extends beyond the traditional supply chain information already available in the OpenText Active Catalogue.
The OpenText Active Catalogue allows you to achieve the highest levels of automation for the setup and management of item and image information. This will help ensure success for both existing and new channels, in addition to providing consumers with the most accurate and up-to-date information available. This information is central to retailers and suppliers that intend to serve consumers with a consistent selling experience across all retail channels.
Our commitment is to provide regular communications regarding retailers plans to use the GS1 guidelines and ensure that your teams are educated as to how to manage all requirements around extended attribute and image exchange. The goal is to articulate the benefits of the process and provide guidance regarding the activities of the various retailers that have begun to request additional attributes and images from their suppliers, or those that will in the near future. In addition, we will be hosting Webinars that will give you an opportunity to better understand and ask questions about this program.
