Pull metadata from the eDOCS DM profile or DM database and merge fields into MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint files.
MDM is installed on the local client to ensure secure interaction with MS Office. It has its own tab in MS Office applications when opened with eDOCS DM. Data updated in eDOCS also passes through MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. MDM can be used to ensure that all person-related user information in MS Office files is updated. This ensures unambiguous reference information when metadata is extracted from the case.
