Kazeon is sold as an appliance and includes basic installation in a production environment. In this course, students will learn how to install the product, add license keys, perform essential administration tasks, and set up and perform crawls, collections, tagging, culling, legal holds, searching, and exports.

On completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Configure the Kazeon Server
  • Install license keys
  • Manage the cluster
  • Register Metadata and Data repositories
  • Create custodian mappings
  • Collect and index data
  • Perform searches
  • Review and tag data
  • Apply legal holds
  • Export and download responsive data
  • Create and manage reports


  • An understanding of client/server technology
  • Knowledge of email servers preferred, but not required
