MeetingZone add-on supports group collaboration without travel, saving meeting notes, presentations and content to the repository." Also recognized are Livelink's improvements in XML handling, administration and search technology, its new features of polling, a text editor and spell checker, along with the Windows Explorer-like view of the Livelink directory. Add-on modules sited in the award summation include Livelink Records Management, Livelink Wireless, Livelink Archive for SAP R/3 and Livelink WebDAV.

The Product of the Year 2001 awards went to twelve winners selected from 24 finalists in 4 categories. With this year's annual selection of stand-out products, the editors of Transform looked for products introduced or significantly upgraded in 2001 that broke new ground or brought together technologies promising a strong return on investment. The editors of Transform continually review new products, and many of this year's finalists were chosen on the basis of first-hand interaction with the technology. Additional insight came from end users, to bring real-life context to every review with customer input, and Transform relied on the opinions of distinguished industry analysts and consultants for insight and guidance.

Livelink MeetingZone is powerful new real-time collaboration for Livelink, the world's most widely deployed, end-to-end collaborative knowledge management platform. MeetingZone meets the increased demand for real-time conferencing capabilities that enable team collaboration without requiring costly and time-consuming travel. MeetingZone is a tightly integrated feature of Livelink and does not require additional software installation, allowing customers to conduct meetings on demand, in real-time from their existing Web browser in a dynamic workspace.
