2016 Computerworld Readers Choice Awards: Singapore and Malaysia

The Computerworld Singapore and Computerworld Malaysia Readers Choice Awards honored OpenText as the top Enterprise Content Management (ECM) provider in the region. This is the second year in a row OpenText has been named a finalist in the Singapore awards.

OpenText receives the coveted 2016 SAP® Pinnacle award for ninth consecutive year

For the ninth year running, OpenText has received a coveted SAP® Pinnacle award. This year SAP named us the Application Innovation Partner of the Year. The award recognizes OpenText as one of SAP's top partners for excelling in developing and growing its partnership and driving customer success.

OpenText named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers for 2016

For the third consecutive year, OpenText has been recognized as one of Canada's Top Employers for 2016. With more than 75,000 companies invited to participate, OpenText was selected after an extensive application process that included a detailed review of our operations and HR practices. The Canada's Top 100 Employers project is a national competition to determine which employers lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces for their employees. Organizations are evaluated by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers using eight criteria, which have remained consistent since the project's inception: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement.

OpenText Awarded "Top Job" Seal in Germany

In July 2015 OpenText was awarded the prestigious "Top Job" seal by the Institute for Leadership and Human Resource Management at The University Of St. Gallen. Receiving the honor for the third time for its German operation, the award recognizes OpenText Software GmbH as a leader in employee satisfaction and development within Germany.

Computerworld Malaysia Names OpenText Among Country's Top Customer Care Providers

Computerworld Malaysia awarded OpenText a Customer Care Award (CCA) for being a top customer care provider in the Country. OpenText Recognized As Finalist for 2015 Microsoft Application Development Partner of the Year

In July 2015, OpenText was named a finalist for the 2015 Microsoft Application Development Partner of the Year Award. The company was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

Awards were presented in several categories, with winners chosen from a set of more than 2,300 entrants from 108 different countries worldwide. The Application Development Partner of the Year Award recognizes exceptional innovation from an application development partner that furthers Microsoft's partner-driven platform vision.

CEO World Awards Names OpenText CEO Mark J. Barrenechea Results-Oriented CEO of the Year

In June 2015, OpenText CEO, Mark Barrenechea, was named Results-Oriented CEO of the Year by CEO World in recognition of his leadership and innovation in attaining results for the company and its customers.

As CEO of Canada's largest software company, Mark upholds the company's position at the forefront of the industry. Under his direction, the company has grown both organically and through strategic acquisitions, into a $1.6 billion technology company. His unwavering commitment to innovation, combined with a dedication to customers' needs, led him to successfully realign the company's products and transform OpenText into an EIM leader.

Presented annually, the CEO World awards recognize the world's best in leadership, innovation, organizational performance, new products and services, CEO case studies, and customer satisfaction programs from every major industry in the world.

LinkedIn 25 Most Socially Engaged Companies in 2015

LinkedIn and Altimeter Group conducted an online survey of two employee groups about their participation on the platform: a "target" (N=1,460) and a "control" (N=1,378) group. The target group respondents were from the top 100 most socially engaged companies on LinkedIn. The control group respondents were from the general user base of employees whose companies are on LinkedIn. Only companies with more than 1,000 employees were surveyed.

The Socially Engaged Companies were defined as those companies with the highest combined scores of Talent Brand Index, Content Marketing Index, Social Selling Index, and Employee Engagement on LinkedIn.

OpenText awarded the HYSEA om 2015

OpenText was given this award for excellence and performance in off-shore development centres. Key considerations in giving this award are product development setup, exports below INR 1B (USD ~17M), exports volume and growth over years, and at least three years of operations. This award was handed out by the Governor of the State. HYSEA (http://hysea.in/) is a registered apex body with more than 300 members, representing the software industry in Hyderabad.
