The employer award with substance

Since 2002, TOP JOB stands for outstanding employer quality. With scientific support, TOP JOB evaluates the personnel work of German SMEs and awards them with a TOP JOB quality seal. Employer comparisons are based on an HR and an employee survey. On this basis, the strengths and weaknesses of the participants are analysed.

The Canada's Top 100 Employers project is a national competition to determine which employers lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces for their employees. Organizations are evaluated by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers using eight criteria, which have remained consistent since the project's inception: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement.

OpenText Recognized as 2012 Microsoft Alliance ISV Industry Partner of the Year

On June 28, 2012, OpenText announced it had won the 2012 Microsoft Alliance ISV Industry Partner of the Year Award and had been named a finalist for the 2012 Business Intelligence Partner of the Year Award. The company was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

The Microsoft Partner Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year. Awards were presented in multiple categories, with winners chosen from a set of nearly 3,000 entrants worldwide. OpenText was recognized for providing outstanding solutions and services in Microsoft Alliance ISV Industry.

The Microsoft Alliance ISV Industry Partner of the Year Award honors the alliance ISV partner that has added business value to customers by deploying new and innovative solutions based on Microsoft technologies in any or all of the following sectors: Manufacturing and Resources (Oil and Gas, Power and Utilities, Process Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Equipment, High Tech and Electronics, Pharmaceutical, Chemicals), Financial Services (Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance), and Distribution and Services (Retail and Hospitality, Consumer Goods, Professional Services). The award acknowledges the partner that has demonstrated excellence in driving Microsoft-based solutions that solve new or existing business needs for the industry. This award winner is recognized as the most valuable alliance ISV partner in developing and delivering Microsoft-based solutions to our mutual customers in the industry. “Microsoft is pleased to recognize OpenText as the Alliance ISV Industry Partner of the Year. OpenText Receives Two 2012 SAP Pinnacle Awards

Prestigious Global Partner Awards Presented to OpenText, Leading SAP Partner, for Delivering Outstanding Value. On May 10, 2012, OpenText announced it was the recipient of two 2012 SAP Pinnacle awards in the "Global Software Solution Partner of the Year" and "SAP Enterprise Support Integrated Award" categories. SAP Pinnacle awards are presented annually to the top SAP partners that have excelled in developing and growing their partnership with SAP (NYSE: SAP) and driving customer success. Winners were selected based on over 150 nominations in 22 categories received from partners and SAP employees. OpenText Named a Finalist in Prestigious Voice of Customer Awards 2012

For a second consecutive year, OpenText has been named a finalist in Forrester's Voice of the Customer (VoC) Awards. This award recognizes organizations that listen to their customers, interpret the data received, and then focus on reach and measurement. Important factors in winner selection include using an innovative approach and demonstrating company efforts have a direct impact both on customers and on the overall business performance. The announcement was made this week at the Forrester Customer Experience Forum in New York City. The Forrester VoC Awards recognize the depth of OpenText’s Customer Experience capabilities, including the application of necessary tools, the ability to hear what customers are saying, the ability to respond to their feedback, and the ability to then make necessary changes to ensure customers are happy and satisfied going forward. These programs span the company and include customer surveys, interviews, customer advisory boards, and focus groups.

OpenText receives Innovation in Learning award at 2012 SkillSoft Perspectives User Conference

The OpenText Global HR Learning and Development team was honored on May 1 at the 2012 SkillSoft Perspectives User Conference in Orlando, Florida. Kenrick Sproul, Director, Learning & Development was on hand to receive the Innovative Collaboration in Learning award on behalf of his team, which includes Kim Devine and Jennifer Kirby. The award acknowledged the OpenText team for their innovative use of internal-facing social components and internal knowledge sharing in their Management 101 leadership program. It is an example of the strong internal processes OpenText has implemented to support growth, innovation, and compliance requirements. "This is a blended learning program which uses a variety of platforms and venues to enhance learning" says Sproul. The program delivers learning through distance learning modules, virtual classroom sessions, Hub community collaborations (where students post and discuss individual and group assignments), in-person coaching sessions with Learning & Development staff, and virtual coaching sessions with previous graduates.
