This two-day course provides the core information you need to manage your organization’s records. It is designed for Records Managers who need a thorough understanding of the core Content Server Records Management (RM)features. The RM 10.5 version includes additional information on RM concepts and their relationship to Content Server RM tools, RM File Plan development, making records Official and/or Confidential, and finalizing them, as well as defining and configuring Records Managers and Records Officers groups.

  • Create and modify retention schedules to apply lifecycle management to your content
  • Utilize the roles and privileges of Records Managers
  • Configure Records Management defaults and administration settings
  • Perform a Disposition Review

Records Managers, Business Consultants, and Administrators

Prerequisites:

  • 1-0101 - OpenText Content Server Knowledge Fundamentals (formerly 101), or equivalent experience
  • A base knowledge of the Records Management discipline, in particular understanding File Classification structures and Retention schedules
  • Knowledge of the ways your organization manages or will manage records
