Provides a practical business architecture analysis focused approach to using ProVision. This course helps solve many of the analytical problems facing ProVision users working on business architecture deliverables. It provides practical, best practice focused training that dramatically improves the effectiveness of business architecture deliverables produced by ProVision users.
During the course of this two day class, provide an in depth understanding of how business architecture analysis can be performed using ProVision. This analysis centered course focuses on the following topics:
- Business Transformation Overview
- Iterative Analysis
- Framework Structure Using the Process Modeler
- Project Scope Using the Business Interaction Modeler
- Discovering and Identifying Business Processes using the Process Modeler
- Scoping Business Processes Using the Communication Modeler
- Discovering and Identifying the Process Structure Using the Process Modeler
- Opportunity and Requirement Analysis
- Representation Techniques using Workflow Modeler
Audience:
People responsible for creating business architecture deliverables including Business architects, business analysts, Six Sigma and Lean practitioners, business staff involved in documenting and designing business processes, IT professionals responsible for working with management and business analysts to facilitate and automate business process improvements.
Prerequisites:
Metastorm’s 101 Business Process Analysis class or equivalent experience using the Metastorm ProVision® Workflow, Process and Business Interaction modelers is required. Basic ProVision functionality and modeling is not covered in this course.
