1-4307 OpenText ProVision Discrete Event Simulation

After completion of this two-day class, the student will be able to set up, analyze and modify workflow model discrete event simulations using the OpenText ProVision discrete event simulator to quantifiably maximize process improvements. This class provides first-hand experience understanding business process component behavior using workflow model simulation techniques and building upon the concepts and techniques learned in the 101 Business Process Analysis course.

    Audience:

    Business Analysts, Business Architects, Six Sigma or Lean Practitioners and IT professionals responsible for utilizing workflow simulations to facilitate quantifiable business process improvements.

    Prerequisites:

    1-4302 Business Process Analysis using Metastorm ProVision v6x or equivalent experience using the Metastorm ProVision Workflow Modeler is required. Basic Workflow Modeling is not covered in this course.
