The OTSN Engine (or SSE) is a key component of OpenText Semantic Navigation. Its purpose the core function of storing & indexing documents within SOLR, an Apache/Lucene Open Source indexing engine. The purpose of this course is to understand the specifics of how documents are stored, indexed and pulled out of the OTSN system as well as the management and available customizations specifics to this component.

At the end of the sessions, users will be able to:

  • Understand the basic concepts of OTCA Manager
  • Create, import, and maintain authority files taxonomies, and thesaurus
  • Create, import, and maintain knowledge bases
  • Refine knowledge bases for better categorization results
  • Maximize the overall use of OTCA Manager
  • Train others on OTCA Manager
