509 Web Solutions Management Server - What's New in Version 10

Open Text has announced the immediate availability of Open Text Web Solutions 10, the latest release of Open Text's industry-leading Web Content Management software. The interface has been redesigned and the general user navigation and orientation have been reworked to enhance the usability. In this context, the following dialogs have been reworked or added to the system:
- The homepage has been redesigned as a start page that can be configured by each user to display information about current tasks, items pending action, new pages and other information from the projects.
- A navigation area and panels have been added to SmartEdit. The panels allow quick navigation and direct access to content classes which can now be dragged and dropped into the page, saved searches and Clipboard items.
- The dialog concept of working with tasks has been redesigned completely. An integrated dialog with custom task lists and translation management functionality is now available.
- The search has been re-worked and a new search dialog added. Saved searches can be defined individually by each user and used in the context of the Homepage and SmartEdit.
