238 What’s New in Livelink ECM – Enterprise Server v9.7.1 Administration
Duration: 2.5 hours
This 2.5 hour on-line course identifies and demonstrates the new administrative features introduced in Livelink 9.6, 9.7 and 9.7.1. This course will help administrators of existing Livelink v9.5 and v9.6 installations to plan their upgrades and will also provide a guide to the newer features for customers who received training on previous versions of Livelink Enterprise Server.
Classes begin at 1:00PM (Eastern Time Zone) upon the scheduled date.
On completion of this training, participants should be able to describe the new features, specifically:
Administration features including:
- The tabbed Admin pages view.
- Major and Minor Versions Admin options.
- Read-Only view of Storage Rules.
- System Report on Admin pages.
- Page Compression (Servlet only).
- Performance Improvements with Control Headers, Support for Web Caching and others.
- Opentext.ini file changes.
- Scalability improvements.
- Monitor Blob deletion.
- Users and Groups support for 255 Characters.
- Creating or editing User Profile & Departmental Group.
- Appearance Optimization.
- User Adoption LiveReports.
Search features including:
- Notification of full index partitions
- Automatic partition creation and automatic backup and restore process creation.
- Support for indexing additional file types.
- Multiple Thesaurus support
- Search Process port controls and secure deletion of temporary files.
- Configure Search Options enhancements including Searchable Types configuration.
- Enhanced metadata and memory management and lowered metadata memory costs.
- Search Statistics.
New Core Modules including:
- Multi-file output.
- SEA module.
- e-Link enhancements.
- WebDav.
