461 Developing Applications with the SearchBuilder API (v5.x)

Participants in this two-day course are programmers or project managers who need to develop an understanding of the tools and techniques required to build a Search and Retrieval client/server application. This course includes a thorough exploration of the Open Text eDOCS SearchBuilder API and the Document Viewer object.
On completion, participants should be able to integrate Open Text eDOCS SearchServer functionality into client/server applications.
On completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Design a search and document retrieval application
- Apply the SearchBuilder API in building an application
- Implement the FulView document control for document viewing

Prerequisites:
Course 361-Open Text eDOCS SearchServer Administration is mandatory Experience with Visual Basic, C or C++, Familiarity with SQL is helpful but not absolutely required, Windows Server or UNIX administration experience is helpful
