451 Developing Applications with the Knowledge Toolkit (v5.x)

During this two-day developer course the Open Text eDOCS Knowledge Toolkit is explored in detail, including the issues and strategies for building applications using the Fulcrum Object Library. The course focuses primarily on Web application development but will also cover client server application development.
This course is intended for JavaScript, VBScript, Visual Basic or Visual C++ developers who need to understand the use of the Fulcrum Object Library in building client applications to access an Open Text eDOCS KM site.
On completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Use the Fulcrum Object Library
- Develop basic eDOCS KM client applications
- Develop browser-based ASP applications using the Fulcrum Object Library
- Customize the Open Text eDOCS KM Web Find application

Intermediate to Advanced Developers
Prerequisites:
Course 0351 Open Text eDOCS KM Administration is mandatory, experience with a programming language such as Visual Basic or VBScript is expected, Windows Server administration experience is recommended but not required.
