This one-half day (1:00-5:00 pm EST) instructor-led Web-based training course will detail how to implement security for the Collections Server and in Webtop.

How secure is your Collection Server? Where is the majority of your data security controlled?

• Understand basic concepts of database security and security implementation architecture
• Discuss the multi-level data security model (database, view, record, and field), privacy methods, and security hierarchy.
• Consider the impact of security on performance
• Learn to create multiple authentication policies in Webtop
• Understand how database security effects Webtop
• Deploy different methods of Webtop user authentication
• Administer Webtop cookies
• Integrate the WebUser module into your application to let users change their own passwords.

Audience:

The administrator responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of the Livelink Collections Server software.
