Open Text Product Certified Partner (CP)Product certification ensures partners represent Open Text with standards of excellence and have the official Open Text endorsement for specific products. It is a requirement of the Open Text Global Partner Program for partners to be product certified. The program requirements include: - Business Consultants, System Administrators, Developers and Education Providers must be certified to represent the Open Text brand.
- The Select Partner program requires a minimum of 1 Consultant to have business (sales) and technical (product) certification.
- The Premier Partner program requires a minimum of 2 Consultants to have business (sales) and technical (product) certification.
- The Platinum Partner program requires a minimum of 6 Consultants to have business (sales) and technical (product) certification.
Certification can be achieved through the following delivery options:- Regional Training Facilities - there are opportunities each quarter to receive product certification including the ability to complete any prerequisites.
- Self Study - student manuals are available (for purchase) to enhance or as an alternative to in-class training for qualified individuals.
- Accelerated Programs* - accelerate your certification by enrolling in a consecutive 10-day program. There is also the option of splitting this program between quarters (5 days each quarter).
- Exam Only - partners with the appropriate qualifications and experience can sit the exam and complete the project as required for certification without completing the prerequisites. Since the exam is based on material from classes and their respective manuals, only the most confident, experienced Livelink partners should consider this option.
Registration Requirements:- Any Open Text partner can apply for product certification.
- A Global Partner Program agreement must be signed in order to qualify for the partner discount on courses.
