Partners in this category are generally Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and Application Service Providers (ASPs) that specialize in line-of-business or industry specific applications.

Solution Partner Profile

Partners in this category re-sell Livelink, the leading collaboration and content management software for global organizations, combined with other Open Text and/or partner product offerings, along with their value-added services. Those services can include implementation, consulting, customization, integration, training, and support. Solution Partners provide the subject matter and vertical application expertise that adds measurable value to a customer's investment in an Open Text solution.

VARs

VARs (Value-Added Resellers) market and sell Open Text products, services, and solutions that typically fall outside of the primary focus areas of the direct Open Text sales focus. Working cooperatively with the Open Text Direct Sales organization, this type of Solution Partner is usually focused on a specific market segment, geography, or application.

ASPs

ASPs (Application Service Providers) provide specialized, hosted, collaborative ECM applications to intra-, extra-, and inter-organizational communities under a subscription-based business model. Preferential or captive access to target communities is a key enabler.

Participation Levels

	Select Level—The Select level is our entry level and accommodates partners who are interested in integrating with Open Text solutions or developing new applications based on the Open Text family of products. An annual participation fee and revenue commitment is required. Select partners receive base-level support and partner-specific communications.
	Premier Level—For partners who are actively selling or co-selling their solutions with Open Text, the Premier participation level offers a high level of support from Open Text in return for a strong commitment to working with Open Text on many levels. A minimum annual revenue commitment must be maintained along with the annual participation fee. Premier partners have a named contact for account management.
	Platinum Level—Our Platinum Level is designed for partners who are in a position to make significant commitments to their Open Text partnership. Platinum-level partners collaborate with all operational groups within Open Text to develop, sell and service solutions based on the Open Text family of products. At this level, there is a required annual revenue commitment level, with a minimum annual investment in Open Text-related activity. Platinum partners receive dedicated account management.
