Services
Partners in this category are generally considered experts in specific application environments or industries. Working closely with our Global Services organization, they provide strategic, high-value consulting and integration services to Open Text customers.
Partner Profile
Open Text is continually seeking partnerships with System Integrators and Consultants in specific industry segments. They must have specific named accounts which complement the efforts of our direct sales force. A typical Services Partner should have many of the following attributes:
targeted competence or domain expertise in an application, business process, or industry segment,
proven methodologies for business processes or in specific market segments,
the ability to provide business consulting and/or technology consulting along with application development,
the ability to work closely with our Direct Sales and Consulting Services organizations to offer services to customers, and
service offerings and rates that are aligned with Open Text Professional Services offerings and rates.
Participation Levels
This category plays an integral role in our Alliance program strategy as Services Partners provide the necessary horizontal and industry domain expertise required to build and deliver collaborative ECM solutions targeted at specific business units or vertical markets. Business and Technology certification requirements are established based upon the enrollment levels as follows:
Select Level—The Select level is our entry level and accommodates partners who are interested in developing Open Text solutions, but are not quite ready to make a revenue commitment. Annual participation fee includes base-level support and partner-specific communications.
Premier Level—Ideal for partners who are actively selling or co-selling their services and solutions with Open Text, the Premier participation level offers a high level of support from Open Text in return for a strong commitment to working with Open Text on many levels. This level involves a minimum revenue commitment. Premier partners have a named contact for account management.
Platinum Level—Our Platinum level is designed for partners who are in a position to make significant commitments to their Open Text partnership. Platinum-level partners collaborate with all operational groups within Open Text to develop, sell and service solutions based on the Open Text family of products. At this level, there is a required annual revenue commitment, with a minimum of annual investment in Open Text-related activity. Platinum partners receive dedicated account management.
