This course will prepare you to train Livelink end users and to take the Livelink Knowledge Fundamentals Trainer certification exam. By the end of the course, you will be able to:

	identify the learning goals of the lectures and exercises,
	identify the possible areas of problems and questions and be prepared to address them,
	troubleshoot problems that students typically encounter in this course and
	the ability to produce technology relevant and complementary to Open Text's product release schedules, and
	be prepared to take the certification exam.

2. Certified Consultant

The Livelink Certified Consultant Program provides an understanding of Livelink and practical experience to:

	understand Livelink's tools from a Knowledge Manager and System Administrator perspective,
	extend Livelink's capabilities using Workflow and Forms,
	learn to implement Livelink Records Management,
	create new interfaces for users with forms and customview.html files,
	determine the best tools from the Livelink UI Toolset,
	use LiveReports to monitor system activity,
	gain an understanding of Livelink architecture requirements,
	understand security requirements for Livelink and
	deliver Livelink solutions using a proven methodology.

3. Certified Developer Program

The Livelink Certified Developer Program provides an understanding of Livelink and practical experience to:

	Understand Livelink's tools from a Knowledge Manager and System Administrator perspective,
	gain an understanding of basic architecture and security issues,
	determine the best tools from the Livelink UI Toolset,
	understand the modular components of Livelink and how they work together,
	write code using OScript, Livelink's programming language,
	integrate code into the Livelink object system using a supported methodology,
	add new interface components and modify the existing user interface,
	create request handlers to process new functionality,
	create modules to package your customizations for easy installation,
	deliver Livelink solutions using a proven project methodology.

4. Certified Administrator Program

The Livelink Certified Administrator Program provides an understanding of Livelink and practical experience to:

	Understand Livelink's tools from a Knowledge Manager and System Administrator perspective,
	Understand Livelink's tools from a Knowledge Manager and System Administrator perspective,
	gain an understanding of Livelink architecture requirements,
	understand basic security requirements for Livelink the software,
	deliver Livelink solutions using a proven methodology,

	write SQL queries and LiveReports to monitor system activity, and retrieve and manipulate information,
	write complex SQL and LiveReports for the Livelink schema,
	use DBMS-specific functions and views,
	use LiveReports within custom Livelink interfaces,
	provide high-level Administrative and Help Desk support for a Livelink solution,
	identify different types of Livelink errors and their origin,
	understand the differences among Server errors, DB errors and Search errors,
	understand the different logging options in the Admin GUI and the opentext.ini file and
	develop a Livelink troubleshooting methodology.
