Danby Award for "Outstanding Achievement in Improving Performance" for its Livelink pilot projects during 2001.

Awarded by the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks, and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO), the E.A. Danby Award recognizes and honours municipalities for performance improvement initiatives that are undertaken in any one of the four areas that affect organizational performance: strategy, structure and processes, information systems, and/or human resources.

The Region of Peel implemented three independent pilot projects using Livelink:

• Financial Services: Livelink electronic workflow speeds procurement processes for Public Works Department, Design and Construction, reducing internal approval processes from four to five days, to one to two days.
  
  
• Public Health Services: Livelink helps ensure quality health services by managing and auditing the process of inspecting vaccine refrigeration by health care providers in the Region.
