Paul Wittekind, Director of Information Technology Services at Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C. will present how Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, a mid-sized New Jersey-based law firm, decided to implement extensive process-changing applications via upgrades to eDOCS DM 5 in conjunction with Office 2007. The firm desired to consolidate its many "silos" of information into a single location that users could access seamlessly, either independently or from within Microsoft Outlook. It eased the transition by borrowing the features of the familiar matter and file folder metaphor that were best suited for organizing electronic data. What challenges did Porzio encounter during its implementation? Have the attorneys and other personnel actually benefited from the latest features of Open Text's solution?
