Click each of the following features to learn more about the key capabilities of Portal Integration Kit:
-
Covers the standard functionality of Enterprise Server. All portlets are based on a common architecture so they can share information with one another. The access rights of the logged-in user are always taken into account.
-
The central part of the integration is a set of portlets that let users browse through the contents of Enterprise Server and view, download, update and add documents. Includes portlets for: Server, Connections & Credentials Management; Tree Navigation; List Container Content; My Favorites; My Projects; My Reserved Items; Object Details with various views.
-
Team collaboration tools are an essential piece of the Enterprise ECM - Collaboration. Included are portlets for: Projects; Discussion Overview; Discussion Entry; My Assignments - Workflow & Task Inbox.
-
Executes predefined and custom LiveReports and displays the results in a list. Commonly used reports such as: Most Active Project; Today's News; What's Hot; All Reserved Items.
-
Enter search queries against Enterprise Server or create predefined searches. Options to select search broker, provide starting point for searches, restrict object types to be returned, and limit maximum number of search results to be returned. Search results can be linked with other portlets like "Object Details," "Tree Navigation," and "List Container Contents."
-
Shows user information as available in Enterprise Server—besides contact details, this may also include an image. The user can be specified either on portlet configuration or passed from another portlet (for example, Discussion Entry or Object Detail).
-
Transforms XML files stored within Enterprise Server into HTML.
-
Java APIs are documented in the standard JavaDoc format. Covers the development and deployment of custom Enterprise Server integrated portlets.
