Content Services form the basis for Open Text’s next-generation content management framework and takes a unique, repository-agnostic approach to ECM, thereby eliminating the content and process silos created by different business systems by detaching the information worker experience from the underlying content repositories.

In short, Open Text Content Services deliver business content from applications such as Microsoft SharePoint, SAP, and Oracle, to users in the interface they most commonly use – from Microsoft Office or Microsoft Outlook to Windows Explorer. They enable enterprise content flows throughout the organization that increase productivity, improve process efficiencies, and helps ensure adherence with established archiving and records management policies to consistently manage information retention and compliance mandates.
