Contract Management & Administration

The contract management process allows public sector purchasers to negotiate a contract with a supplier on the basis of an RFx (Request for Proposal, Request for Information, etc.). Once terms and conditions have been agreed upon, the draft contract must be created, incorporating the agreed terms with other clauses required by applicable regulations and statutes. The review of draft contracts can be effectively managed through pre-established review and approval workflows using Enterprise Content Management (ECM) document review technologies. Upon approval, the contract is centrally managed and the final version made available to operational purchasers who can take advantage of the conditions negotiated. During the course of the contract period, all documentation related to exceptions and amendments can be coordinated in the common repository and associated processes can be managed by workflows.
