Abacus Learning Systems can advise on open and flexible learning aspects of education and training, especially the delivery of training using Computer Mediated Communication and Computer Supported Cooperative Learning. We have trained Educators from many Universities, Colleges of both Higher and Further Education, and trainers from industry and commerce, in the UK and abroad in online Computer Supported Collaborative learning Techniques Our personnel have been visiting tutors on the 'Online Education and Training' Course run by the Institute of Education, London University, and for the British Open University's 'Teaching & Learning On-Line' course, for a number of years. We have held various workshops on e-Learning throughout Germany, at The Croatian Academic and Research Network, and with the John M. Campbell & Company, a US-based training company specializing in the global Oil and Gas Industry.
