Configure storage rules, such as by file size, date, or folder, to control what file system content is archived and to which storage media. Alternatively, archive documents interactively with a single click from the file system interface.

With File System Archiving you can migrate content out of file systems and replace with a shortcut to the archived content. When users click the shortcut, the archived document is retrieved, creating a seamless experience for end users. Alternatively, you can copy files into the Livelink ECM system. This scenario accommodates organizations who want to consolidate access to content stored in file systems, but not disturb the physical files stored therein.
