About the Organization

The Central Arizona Project (CAP) is designed to deliver 1.5 million acre-feet of Colorado River water per year to the state of Arizona. As the steward of central Arizona's Colorado River water entitlement, CAP carries water across three counties and is a 336-mile long system of aqueducts, tunnels, pumping plants, and pipelines.
