Schools
At any level of government, the educational objective is to promote student achievement by fostering excellence in education and ensuring equal access to it. ECM can be used to help agencies work with schools and communities to establish policies on funding for education, along with policy documents that outline mandatory requirements and standards to improve the quality of education. Because it helps agencies and departments collaborate across silos, ECM brings together local school systems, the private sector, public and private nonprofit educational research institutions, community-based organizations, parents, and students to create innovative programs and resources that support the implementation of policy. These programs deliver special education services to those in need, encourage public engagement and involvement, promote improvement through government-supported research and evaluation, make all information about the public education system—including coursework and curriculum—readily available online, and work toward the common goal of helping to unlock each student’s potential.
