Social Housing

Well-funded, well-managed social housing is essential for communities to be socially and economically viable. Social housing refers to non-profit or co-operative housing communities where some or all the rents are subsidized by the government. Social Housing staff administers thousands of units of social housing in cities and regions. They ensure, on behalf of taxpayers,  that applicants meet specific rules of eligibility and that that owners are complying with their legislative and contractual requirements.

An ECM system enables easy searching and filing, more efficient management of information and automated paper processes to reduce the amount of paper being generated and stored and improve customer service. Social Housing staff has quick access to case related information for enhanced client service. Collaboration also is facilitating the move to the integration of public housing with market housing to provide better accommodations for low-income residents, and connect them to the greater community.
