Cabinet & Executive
The executive office has sole authority and is responsible the daily administration of government. Executive power is divided into separate branches of government which combine leaders, staffs of appointed advisors with a variety of departments and agencies. To effectively carry out the functions demanded by the head of state, appointed staff (such as the Cabinet) needs to work across departmental silos and systems to ensure that policies are developed in accordance with defined objectives and priorities. At the operational level, supporting staff is required to carry out practical administrative duties, including coordinating leadership agenda, travel, and media relations and preparing correspondence.
