The Archiving component of the Open Text ECM Suite is delivered by the following products, each of which is designed to manage the storage of a particular type of enterprise content:

• Open Text Archiving for SAP Solutions provides secure, long-term archiving of data and documents from SAP applications. It offloads aged data to reduce storage costs and improve performance, while providing seamless access to archived data. In addition, it securely archives documents from SAP applications while providing end users with seamless access to them in the context of SAP transactions.

• Open Text Email Management products enable the archiving, control, and monitoring of email to reduce the size of the email database, improve email server performance, control the lifecycle of email content and monitor email content to ensure compliance.

• Open Text File System Archiving provides secure, long-term storage of content from file system drives, while ensuring content integrity, avoiding redundancy, reducing storage costs, and providing the ability to apply records management rules to control content lifecycle.

• Open Text Storage Services for Microsoft SharePoint stores Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 content in external storage devices, while at the same time reducing wasted space by automatically detecting multiple instances of the same content.
