OpenText Holding Recruiting Open House at Waterloo Headquarters November 28

Waterloo, ON - 2012-11-22 - OpenText (NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTC) today announced that the company plans to hold a Recruiting Open House at its global headquarters in Waterloo, Ontario next week, as part of an initiative to meet growing demand for its Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions. Interested applicants can register for the Open House and view available roles at Recruiting Open House. The event will be held at OpenText's 275 Frank Tompa Blvd. location on November 28th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

"OpenText is continually looking for top talent to support new business development and ensure superior customer service," said Manny Sousa, Senior Vice-President Global Human Resources at OpenText.

The recruiting event will have a personal tone, as applicants will have the opportunity to meet hiring managers and "have a conversation" with OpenText, Sousa said. Holding the event at OpenText will give prospective employees a sense of the company's corporate culture and amenities.

"Openings at OpenText are typically full-time roles, and we are looking for candidates with previous customer service or account management experience in the tech sector. Varying degrees of technical experience are required, depending on the role," said Sousa.

The capacity of the headquarters location was doubled in an expansion completed last year, with construction of a second building and parking facility to ensure the company could accommodate the workforce needed to support a growth business. OpenText held the official opening of the building as part of its 20th anniversary celebration in spring, 2012.
