LAVA Systems Welcomes Four Prestigious Value-Added Resellers to Business Partner Program
Ciara Systems Inc., Dynax Resources Inc., Oxford Associates, and Pulsar Data Systems Inc. Bring LAVA Systems' Products to Manufacturing, Distribution, and Government Clients
Toronto, ON - 1997-02-03 - LAVA Systems Inc.(TSE:LVA),
developer and marketer of award-winning integrated document
management, imaging, and workflow solutions, today welcomed four
prestigious new resellers to their Business Partner Program--Ciara
Systems Inc., Dynax Resources Inc., Oxford Associates, and Pulsar Data
Systems Inc.
The Business Partner Program offers an array of services which enable
resellers to sell, implement and maintain LAVA products that make
document-based information available from within existing line-of-business
applications like AP/AR, claims processing and manufacturing control
systems.
"We're excited about the variety of information management challenges our
new business partners are solving with LAVA," said Chris Kraker, manager
of LAVA Systems' reseller program. "It is very satisfying to see how
LAVA's ability to seamlessly link to existing applications is enabling our
resellers to satisfy the complex needs of their various customers."
"What really sets LAVA Systems apart is the openness of their solutions
and their adherence to industry standards," said Matt Ciaramitaro,
president of Ciara Systems Inc., which is now integrating the LAVA
solution with an existing JD Edwards installation for a billion-dollar energy
company. "Unlike other vendor solutions that often limit growth, LAVA's
flexibility means my clients can migrate and grow their systems while
protecting their current investments through LAVA's ability to layer on top
of existing technology."
Dan Bivona, vice president of sales for Dynax Resources Inc., said his
distribution and manufacturing clients are excited about LAVA's ability to
access information from the AS/400 platform. "LAVA Systems' solutions
bring an unmatched level of functionality to my AS/400 clients by providing
robust access to important business information from within an
environment with which they are comfortable," he said.
"Our clients are revamping their sales and customer service systems to
sell and service customers more effectively. Our clients in the financial
services industry, in particular, are looking for a solution that will let them
create a robust rules-based environment--a requirement in which LAVA
excels," said Richard Eichen of Oxford Associates, who switched vendors
to LAVA after an eye-opening trade show presentation. "I'm installing
LAVA at a prestigious client and have a dozen other clients eager to begin
the process."
"Our federal clients appreciate LAVA's ability to solve many of the
important interoperability problems that exist in the federal government
today," said Russ Schramm, manager of Pulsar Data Systems' Complex
Systems Group. "LAVA's ability to quickly add document management,
imaging, and workflow capabilities to government standard applications
such as electronic forms will further assist the U.S. government with its
paper reduction initiative. As a federal systems solution provider for LAVA,
we are well equipped to meet the growing federal need for document and
information management solutions."
LAVA Systems' Business Partner Program is one of the most innovative of
its kind, offering prospective resellers four levels of participation ranging
from generating initial sales referrals for LAVA Systems to complete
responsibility for product sales and services, including demonstrations,
installations, support, and optional licensee training. Partners can also
receive a scaled discount on LAVA software based on their participation
level, and gain access to co-op funds for marketing and promotional use.
