Open Text Takes the Lead in Document Management Market Growth Increasing Revenues by 248%

Waterloo, ON - 1997-07-28 - Open Text Corporation (NASDAQ:OTEX) has been recognized as the leader in market development for electronic document management by Delphi Consulting Group in their annual Award Series recognizing the achievements of companies in document management, search and retrieval and workflow software.

The Delphi report states that Open Text achieved the highest growth rates of all leading suppliers of search and retrieval and document management software during calendar 1996. Over the course of 1996, Delphi reports Open Text to have increased its overall revenue by 248%.
