United Airlines Chooses Open Text Livelink

Chicago, IL - 1997-09-10 - Open Text Corporation (NASDAQ:OTEX) today announced that the world's largest airline will deploy Livelink WorkSMART to enhance its current system for managing aircraft information and create a more efficient auditing of workflow processes.

Based on Livelink, the new system will provide United Airlines personnel with an enhanced workflow auditing system. "This recent application of Livelink further builds on United's current use of Open Text solutions, providing the company with a full suite of advanced workflow and document management tools to automate their business processes," adds Jenkins.

United Airlines operates nearly 2,300 flights each day on a route network that spans the globe to 136 destinations in 32 countries.
