UNISYS Latin America Partners with Open Text to Distribute Livelink Intranet in Mexico,Central and South America

San Mateo, CA - 1998-04-14 - Open Text Corporation (NASDAQ:OTEX) and Unisys Corporation, Latin America and Caribbean Division (LACD), today jointly announced that Unisys will partner with Open Text for the sale and support of Livelink Intranet throughout Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean. As one of the largest systems integrators in Latin America with 3,400 employees and offices in 20 countries, Unisys is well positioned to further expand the market penetration of Open Text's flagship product Livelink throughout the region.

The agreement calls for Unisys Corp., through its Latin America and Caribbean Division, to sell and support Livelink, an off-the-shelf, enterprise-scalable, collaborative knowledge management application for intranets. Livelink delivers a powerful collaborative environment that enables project teams to capture, share and reuse corporate knowledge to meet the organization's missions and objectives.

Unisys, with its commanding position in systems integration for leading corporations, government agencies and major financial institutions in the region, and with its extensive sales and support organization, is in an ideal position to introduce Livelink throughout Latin America.
